Yes, I am for real. I am a female currently living in the Seattle area.

Are Seattle house prices really out of your reach?

Yes, the Seattle house price is currently out of my reach. In fact I'm suprised how anyone in the Seattle can afford a home. The current, as of Sept. 2004, median house price for King county is $329,950, Pierce county: $207,000, and Gray's Harbor: $115,000.

As much as I would love to own a home in Seattle it simply isn't possible for me. I am currently looking at homes in Gray's Harbor, specifically Aberdeen/Westport. It is far from a major city, but it's close to the ocean and I can learn to surf.

I just want the dream of home ownership. I am working hard to make my dream come true, and with your help I think I can succeed.

How much fun can you really have with a hut?

I think it's something that everyone should find out for themselves. But, from my experience it's so much fun, they'll probably make it illegal. Buy a hut, and join the fun.
